Songs from
the other side
of ordinary.

I’ve always loved getting lost in music and stories, and finding a little bit of magic in the ordinary.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to songs that tell a story or make you feel everything all at once. My own music is inspired by everything from love and nostalgia to hope, heartbreak, and the stranger things in life.

Some of my songs are a little mysterious, others are more personal, and a few are just about finding beauty in everyday moments. I don’t really stick to one genre or theme. I just enjoy seeing where the music takes me.

There’s plenty more music to come, and I’m excited to finally share this creative side of myself.

Behind the music

Jacob writes his own lyrics and melodies and records vocal demos. AI-assisted production helps bring those ideas into finished arrangements, expanding the sound around the original songwriting.

All Is Strange,
All Is Bright

Five original songs for the strange, nostalgic, and wonderfully messy side of Christmas.

From the magic of winter evenings to a Christmas party for the dead, a little holiday rebellion, and memories of Decembers gone by, this collection finds its way back to the warmth of being loved. A little darkness, a little mischief, and something bright to hold onto.

The songs

  1. After Five

A pop celebration of winter evenings and the magic that arrives after dark.

  2. Christmas for the Dead

A mischievous, theatrical Christmas party with a guest list from the other side.

  3. Silent Night, Violent Night

Christmas punk-pop for the moment holiday patience finally runs out.

  4. Take Me Back to December

A nostalgic wish to return to the Christmases we still carry with us.

  5. The Longest Night

A ’90s-inspired power ballad about being held close and knowing you don’t have to face the darkness alone.
